"The staff are very welcoming and friendly especially Claire on reception, who explained everything to us in great detail. We stayed for one night this visit and had our children come to the hotel to have dinner with us in the restaurant, the food was very enjoyable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was excellent a great choice of both continental and cooked breakfast. Manisha went out of her way to get me a decade latte from the bar even though the restaurant was very busy. We would recommend the Delta by Marriott Waltham abbey to family & friends and will be staying there again in the future."

"Mixed feelings. The room itself was fine, the experience not so great. I had chosen this hotel in part because it was a good location and had an EV charger. The EV charger was not working and the experience in reporting and trying to get resolved was infuriating. I had to go elsewhere and charge. The EV alone I probably would have overlooked, particularly as it involved a third party. However, upon check out the hotel attempted to charge me for a dinner that I hadn’t ordered or had! Ironically I had eaten elsewhere whilst waiting for my car to charge. Again, mistakes can happen, but the receptionist was at first insistent that as that’s what her computer said, I had to pay it! Eventually sorted, but took way too long, making me late for an meeting, and did not appreciate the accusatory manner. So an okay stay bookended by two poor and frustrating experiences."

"Bed was comfy. Air con didn't adjust but the window opened a bit. Enough space. Breakfast was pretty good. Bar was nice. Didn't eat here - suggest lots of restaurants nearby."
