"What a fabulous boutique hotel, the suite was stunning, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The two balconies were a plus! Staff was more than helpful and breakfast was spectacular, more than we could eat! Thanks to all the front desk staff for making our stay comfortable and although it was for one nighy, it was definitely pleasant! Merci."

"The hotel is well located, clean and minimalist. The only critique is that luggage has to be brought up a steep two floors staircase to the reception area. Then there’s a small elevator to go up the other floors. "

"We stayed two days before our cruise, it was a clean and safe hotel. It was across from the “Docks” which was wonderful to have so close - the (large) mall and museum was within walking distance as well as the cathedral. My only complaint would be the food and wait staff in the restaurant - he was fairly inattentive and we waited a long time to pay our cheque, we had to walk to the counter after some time to pay and the chicken club sandwich was cold and felt prepared in advance. "Close to beach. No grocery stores close by for quick snacks or food. Limited dining. Had to use e-bikes and scooters to get any amenities or restaurants. No hair blowers in room, nobody made the beds just took out your garbage. Outside is run down. Good about giving help in English. Safe property. "

"Great location. The hospitality was very good. The staff spoke English and was accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean; it is also modern. I slept comfortably. It was walkable to restaurants, the shopping center, and the movie theater. The tram station is close by. I would recommend it. "

Locking the door using a physical key was a bit of a challenge at first. Hotel Carre Vieux Port was perfect for my short trip to Marseille. "
