If anything - the restaurant could use improvement on the menu. I wish there were more gluten free options - especially for kiddos. Pad Thai is not a typical kid food regardless if they are celiac or not. We travel with snacks but most hotels we stay at have kid friendly gluten free options.

We enjoyed being connected to the Kellogg Arena for the event my daughters attended. The hotel manager was really great and even allowed staff to open up Starbucks for us earlier than they were set to open.

Nice,New hotel so its clean. Has a pool and thats all . Don't expect even a free bottle of water lol...Or even a banana for free. No microwave which isn't uncommon for hotels. Battle Creek doesn't of ubers or lyft, no transportation avble so make sure your driving a ba $$$

Cookie was good but None in morning before 1pm. Remodel of Hotel is nice. Expedia site I got reservation at said there was a continental breakfast, there was Not and Hotel said there not responsible for that offered Nothing to me.

McCamly Plaza turned DoubleTree Success
I'm a BC native so I was super excited to see how DoubleTree has brought back the great McCamly Plaza Hotel! I have to say, DoubleTree didn't disappoint; they have made this place look really nice. The staff was super nice, check-in was smooth, complimentary warm cookie and the bed's are pretty comfortable They have on-site pool and hottub thoughwe didn't go. Also, they have a restaurantthay serves all three meals, a bar and a lounge bar area wirh limited food options. A cool thing to note is all three places are open to the public.

Dirty / corners never cleaned yuck - Wall around the bed and nightstand were filthy every corner was filled with dirt crumbs, back of the mirror hand held mirror was crowded with fingerprints and crud. Poop on the toilet seat, I can understand being under construction but without a sign to “excuse the mess . Very disappointing hotel for a place the whole local conventions and being next to Kellogg’s corporate offices. Yuck!
