"We had a great stay, the room was clean and had all the facilities as per description. Very handy to the hospital but a bit further away from town, which is still walking distance and there is public transport outside. Would definitely stay again as very handy to family. "

"One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The bathrooms are so cute, with blue tiles on the walls and copper pipes that make it look antique. Lots of privacy with curtains at your own bed, your own reading light and outlets. The hostel workers are fantastic. They host daily activities or meals. The night I stayed they made a full dinner for everyone. I would absolutely come back to this hostel"

"We were able to unload our bags in the hotel's loading bay then we went and parked our car in the car park they have an arrangement with: that all worked out fine. Our room was decorated in a slightly ...whacky style. Maybe more design over substance particularly in the bathroom where more shelving would be useful for toiletry bags. "These apartments are in an excellent location, just around the corner from Te Papa and across the road from the waterfront. Lots of nice eateries within a short walk too. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The balcony had views of the waterfront and was a lovely spot. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to Wellington."

"Clean, quiet and convenient location for exhibitions. Room was a bit stuffy and smelly from cooking smells from previous guests. We found this most unpleasant as deodoriser should have been sprayed. It lingered for the 3 nights we stayed. Bed was comfortable. Bulbs in lamps needed replaced. Housekeeping should check this when rooms are vacated"

The cleanest hotel room…ever!

"This is a small hotel that is near Lambton Quay and the Terrace. At first sight, it did not look like a hotel. When you enter, the reception is very small and there was a long dark corridor to the rooms. I was on an upper floor. The room was surprisingly spacious! There was a small kitchenette and a washer/ dryer. What struck me most was the fact that this was the cleanest hotel room that I have ever stayed in (and in a year, I may have stayed in 20 hotels!) Everything was lovely… the one possible drawback is that the reception closes early. You will need to pick up your luggage before it shuts! "
