"Fantastic location, great ocean view, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. My only concern was with the shower, which was lukewarm on two of my three nights. When I reported it to the front desk, they explained that it was due to high demand at the same time, but this didn’t make sense, as it wasn’t a busy season. For a four-star hotel, I’d expect a reliable hot water supply regardless of occupancy. Overall, though, a great experience with just this one small issue."

"Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Der Service war super nett und das hotel und die Zimmer waren auch gut . Das Hotel ist etwas von außen runtergekommen aber Frhstück und Wellness waren toll. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel , wenn man vorhat Sightseeing in Lissabon zu machen ."

"Memmo Alfama is a great place to stay. The views of Lisbon and the river are beautiful from the terrace, our room was very clean, and the location is excellent. Check-in desk staff was so friendly and always helpful. It was quiet at night since the hotel is situated off of the main street. Highly recommend!"

"Location was perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bed sheets were some of the most comfortable we ever slept in, competed with Shangri-la and Fairmont. Room and bedding were clean, only complaint was carpet was old and had stains. Bathroom sink tap had no hot water at times."

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete disaster. You seriously let me down this time. Immediate action is needed—both for your customers and your credibility. I’m reconsidering ever using Hotel.com again after this debacle"
