If you're NOT going to be one of those people who will nitpick every flaw of a room or you have some weird aversion to all the quirks of old buildings and minimal updates, this place was great! The bed and towels were clean and that's what I look for.

The property is about 5 min away from the state capitol, if you are walking. The hotel is super dated, looks like it was going under a facelift. The staff is friendly, they do have complimentary breakfast. Parking is valet only, limited parking. This hotel is perfect, if you are going to be around the city daily and not looking for hotel amenities. I booked a deluxe room, it was clean, perfect for my stay.

The good - This property is conveniently located near downtown and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bad - The property is very poor shape, hallways smelled like trash, the interior and exterior have not been maintained. Parking during the week is $32 per night and $52 on the weekends. I will not stay here again.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, toilet not working, cockroaches on hallway and not to talk about the parking not being free. End up staying only one night even though I pay two prefer to leave than get a disease there AVOID AT ALL COST
