"Very congenial and helpful host in a lovely, charming and beautifully-furnished house. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast is light, stairs are quite steep and the radiator will tick and trickle fairly continuously when on, so do without it from bedtime when possible. Parking at the nearby secure park is easy and reasonably priced - just be aware the only indication you'll get that the exit machine has scanned your paid ticket is the raising of the arm!"

"Hotel De Champagne is right across the street from the train station. Couldn't be in a more convenient location. We were welcomed and made to feel at home. The staff provided us with an extra pillow and were very helpful in responding to all of our requests during our 3 nights there. The Angers Castle and Cathedral, stores and restaurants are all close enough to walk to."
