"lovely place with very comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. Nice touches such as fresh milk in the room every day. Restaurant served very nice food - not cheap, but very nice. We all like romantic dinners with soft lighting, but one of the nights the lights were so dim, we could not identify some the food on the plate without tasting it. After that we picked our own table with better lighting :)"

Fabulous stay

"The friendliness of all the staff, the delicious breakfast, the large rooms and location of the hotel are what makes it a very special stay. Close to the railway station, you can visit Harrogate, York, Knaresborough and Leeds. Buses are also plentiful for visiting other areas of Yorkshire. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for your stay"
