"This is a beautiful and first-rate hotel. I'm baffled by reviews here complaining of poor maintenance, as we found everything in perfect repair and spotlessly clean. Our room was wonderful. My only disappointment was that the jacuzzi wasn't hot enough to really be therapeutic. The steam room was a great amenity. "A beautiful old convent where monks once stayed. Everything is beautifully appointed and the breakfast was a beautiful spread. The location is outside city center so call an uber to get around. Evora was a beautiful old city and our hotel balcony was a lovely view. "

"Traveling with friends thru Portugal and stayed here 1 night. Perfect location for walking to Evora walled city; free parking; comfortable beds and rooms; delicious breakfast included; enjoyed indoor pool/sauna/steam room area in the early evening. Left a Samsung tablet by mistake and the hotel staff went above and beyond to secure it; they offered to help get it shipped to home but we decided to return and pick it up instead. Would definitely recommend this hotel!! "
