Alabaster Coast hotels from RM294

"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming...

"Stephane was an excellent host. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. However the bed head in our room was inadequate and allowed the pillows to fall behind it to the floor."

"Really friendly staff and the hotel is just a few meters back from the beach and in the lovely old town. They were really helpful with storing our bicycles and accomodating our late arrival. "

"Love that the room but especially shower were modern and updated while it’s in a historic building. Location is perfect. "

"It's a unique place, not a traditional hotel. A very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Nice to retreat from noise and get some time to relax. Rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, however they miss some practical details in the bathroom like hangers and a spot to place your own toiletries. Pool and SPA area are nice also the green common areas. "

"Room was on third floor, no elevator. Shower was tiny. Shower head very low. No soap holder. Leak around the sink. The only chair in the room was broken. Decoration was non existent. An old, badly kept room. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"Yurts are fantastic and the whole set up is really great! The bathrooms and dining area were spotlessly clean. Pleased to find breakfast included too!"

"Please note the town shuts down at 8 PM. They close the hotel and do NOT wait for you to check in. Fortunately a much nicer hotel was down by the actual beach and accommodated us. It worked out bc it was a far superior hotel and not much more money compared to the new Windsor. Stay somewhere else but def visit Etretat. "
