"Riad Al Ansari is a beautiful riad which has been recently renovated to the highest standard. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings and Moroccan architectural detail. I had a lovely room with a view of the courtyard. Most importantly, Hicham, the manager, was very hospitable and welcoming. He is charming and made me feel totally comfortable and safe. "This is a oasis or calm and tranquilly just metres away from the hustle and bustle of a major route through the old city medina. The host and hostess were a delight, very friendly and accommodating. Although their English was on par with my French, we managed with humour and good grace. They were prepared to get up early and make a breakfast before I left.
