"It is in a quiet location near Melfi. I felt like I was in the country. Very nice hotel. The breakfast was good but it would have been a bit better if they had granola to eat with yogart, which is pretty standard for a European breakfast. Great pool, clean and grat staff."

"Hotel Venusia is a beautiful hotel in the rather remote town of Venosa. We were there for two nights at the end of October, which was clearly off season. Our hotel room was large and clean, with a nice balcony. The downside was the bed was very hard, and the bathroom, particularly the shower, very small. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly, even though we speak no Italian. Breakfast was good, and we also had dinner both nights, which was very good and inexpensive. We didn’t find...

"The place was impossible to find ,room was not what we asked for,they could not give us another room for 2 days as they said they were all booked.This i did not believe as i saw nobody at lunch,dinner or breakfast.Place was creepy because the isolation and lack of people.Place was beautiful and b.l.and dinner was good.
