Cottages in Africa

"There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. "The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...
