"This property is absolutely beautiful. There is not a thing we could fault. Bed was very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained, the lovely house manager, popped in everyday to see if there was anything we needed. I requested a smaller pillow, received it 10 minutes later. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and fresh bread and milk everyday and several cereals. The kitchen is gorgeous. "This is a beautiful and tranquil place surrounded by nature. In the mornings, we were pleasantly surprised by the chirping and whistles of different birds; and cool, crisp and fresh forest air. We will visit again."

"If you want the mod-cons then this hotel is not for you. It is an old building with eclectic furnishings. The staff were amazing, the facility was easy to find and there is retail nearby for those last minute (forgotten) items. I was able to prepare a simple meal for dinner and a wonderful egg and bacon breakfast. We will be back."
