"On arrival, The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do anymore for us, Room was lovely and clean with everything we needed, We had our evening meal in the restaurant and again was very nice, Breakfast was superb and Service was second to non, We will definitely stay here again in the near future. "The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards. "Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."

"Excellent resort to stay with kids and dog. The accommodation is a great size, beds are comfy and the resort is clean. The resort itself is dated but the location and the size of the apartments make it worrhwhile. Kids loved the badminton and tennis. Pool is great for kids too We will definitely be back again"
