"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards. "This centre had everything we needed. Our unit was spacious and cosy. We were so grateful to be able to check-in very early because of the storm. Our granddaughters had great fun in the pool which was very child friendly with lots of inflatable toys for them. It’s a great location to explore Aviemore and the Cairngorms. "
