"Beautiful peaceful location with excellent staff. Very small bedroom but numerous lounge areas which would make it very suitable for groups of family or friends. Paid for a mountain view but couldn't see them because trees obstructed the view. Guests should be aware that the property is about 15 kilometres before the town of Mantegias and is quite isolated. "

"Bem localizado em termos de acessos a Museus e para conhecer Seia. Relativamente perto de pontos de interesse na zona com fácil acesso. Pequeno-almoço e serviço excepcional sempre atentos ás necessidades dos clientes. O apartamento era muito adequado para a familia de 2 adultos e 3 crianças e bem climatizado para ser bastante confortável com clima frio. Ponto menos positivo o estacionamento não é no local mas tem um parque bastante perto do local."

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "

"Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! "Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. The owner was understanding about this and we settled the bill remotely by bank transfer. So, a good and bad...

Staff were lovely and the pool area was a great place to relax in the heat of the afternoon. "
