Location was perfect and the majority of places we wanted to visit during were walkable which was ideal. "My husband and I were in Amsterdam for a concert at the Ziggo arena. This hotel is in a wonderful central location and a few metro stops from the arena. The staff were all attentive and professional. We had a superior room with a huge bed and lovely walk in shower. The room overlooked the train station with great views. "Old building that is converted into a hotel. Beautifully done. The W has actually two buildings. If you stay at one building and want to use the gym or pool, you have to cross the street. It's a very small street so it is actually charming rather than annoying. Pool and spa are GORGEOUS. I also stayed at the W in Barcelona but this one is definitely more impressive. THey also had a cool lounge on top of the building."
