This time, we want to single out Marinella among the staff—she was the maestro at the breakfast, directing us and others at our tables, taking our orders with a smile (never the same, my wife and I) and more. But all the team is great—from the bosses to the cleaning people and the restaurant staff....

Lucia gave us a quick overview of Florence including the museums, the parks, the restaurants and the Christmas market. "Incredible facilities, rooms are cleaned really well, staff are always very attentive. To be able to access the grotta is a real highlight, it's an incredible place, much bigger than expected and the facilities are again outstanding. Spa had a lot of choice, the outdoor swimming pools were unexpected given we visited in December and it was never too busy, often it was just us. There are also lots of hiking options from just next to the property, starting from inside the hotel grounds. "
