"I have stayed at the Esperia on many occasions. The hotel is extremely well run. The staff are 'wonderful', always friendly and helpful. The location is near to the beach, the Mandraki ( harbour) and the Old Town. It is also convenient for bus services."

"My mom and I absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the view was amazing from all areas. The staff was the highlight; so kind, so helpful, and so patient with our many questions as it was our first time there. 2 beautiful beaches at walking distance along with the fortress being just a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking, it was worth every penny. "

"We stayed here for a 4 nights mainly for the convenience of meeting friends also staying locally to Falariki, and for day excusions. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"The hotel itself was a bit outdated, the elevator was very small, and the beds weren’t the most comfortable BUT that staff was really friendly which I appreciated. There’s a small market connected to the hotel which was convenient and as soon as you walk out of the hotel you’re at the beach and close to several restaurants. The hotel is located in bar road basically which we didn’t mind but if you don’t like noise then don’t stay here. "

"Very poor quality food, limited choices, poor housekeeping, in our 10 day stay, our sheets were changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. The pool dirty/cloudy and constantly full of bugs, and was generally in bad condition with broken lights, tiles (with sharp edges) and plagued with ants. Drinks were the usually cheap all inclusive type, and frequently some types were out of stock. Staff were generally friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay again."
