"Had a very comfortable stay, staff were really friendly. Only downside is, I was told I couldn’t get my invoice until checkout, I left at 6am and there was no one behind the desk or around reception so I was unable to collect an invoice but I would still highly recommend this hotel. "

"The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our ferry to Ireland was delayed a day so they moved our booking with no issue, when we arrived we had been upgraded too. Gym and pool were great, the rooms were so comfortable. 5* experience for sure"

"The staff went out of their way to assist my friend who had fallen the day before and needed a lot of assistance. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I definitely would recommend this hotel and walkable to the airport. "

"There is a large public playground across the street from the hotel. Live music in the attached pub, but it also wasn’t so loud that it would be audible in the room. Leisure centre had a pool and a gym. The gym is small but well appointed. We had the breakfast included and it had a good selection of Irish breakfast options and cold options like cereals and pastries. It is entirely walkable from the bus station and to all of the options around Gort. It would make a good base from which to visit...

"Just checked in a few hours ago and must say it’s one of the nicest hotels with the most helpful staff. We have stayed in numerous 5stars across Ireland and the rest of the world and trump doonbeg is definitely one of the best. Check in was done immediately by lovely gents at the gate and the facilities are top notch. Staff are excellent."

"From the check in staff, to the breakfast staff, and the room cleaning staff, as well as the spa and pool staff were all amazing and very welcoming and eagar to help. "Lovely BnB with an excellent breakfast. Only issue was the shower which was very tiny and very hard to control water flow. Otherwise 5 star. As with most BnB's there are narrow stairs to climb which might be difficult for older people or those with luggage."

It is entirely walkable from the bus station and to all of the options around Gort. It would make a good base from which to visit Galway City and the Burren without dealing with Galway traffic. Good for families. Our room had one queen bed and two twin beds. "

Two night work stay

"I arrived late after work and being on the road for a few hours. I had missed the cutoff for barfood by a few minutes but reception called them and placed an order for me which was ready at the bar 10 mins later. Check in was fast and efficient with very friendly and polite staff. Room was clean but the heating was overpowering and I had to turn off the radiator. The bathroom was clean and my only single complaint was the shower head as the water flow was poor and the nozzles could probably do with a clean to free the flow. Breakfast was a buffet style and the food was good and hot. I had dinner on my second nights stay and it was lovely. There was plenty of choice. Overall I was very happy with my stay."
