"Pleasantly surprised because the hotel was much nicer than I had anticipated! Very clean, luxurious, spacious rooms, fancy shampoo/conditioner set from L’Occitane, good water pressure, clean water that didn’t smell like sulfur. We arrived on the later side and staff was available for check in. Breakfast was also good and staff was attentive to guests’ needs even during breakfast. "Wir waren eine Nacht auf der Durchreise und wirklich nur zum Schlafen in der Unterkunft. Das Wichtigste: wir haben hervorragend geschlafen! Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht (inkl Wasserkocher Instantkaffee) und dazu noch sehr bequeme Betten. An der Rezeption kann man zusätzliche Getränke kaufen. Es gab keine Wartezeit bei den geteilten Badezimmern. Alles sehr sauber. Wir würden wiederkommen!"

"This was exactly what I was looking for quiet, cozy, and isolated. Stepping outside the cottages to see the northern lights was a dream come true. For me, it’s a five-star experience, and I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Iceland. For those who need to know: the hot water is sufficient for standard showers, but if you tend to linger, you might want to keep that in mind. Otherwise, it’s an absolutely wonderful place.""
