Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other...

"I would recommend this place to a friend going to Stresa. A comfortable apartment, well located and relatively reasonable price. One important point is that the checkin is at Hotel Meeting one block down the street. If one does not know this one would have trouble. Expedia should do a better job of making this clear and I think Villa Maurice or Hotel Meeting should send an email explaining this to everyone who makes a reservation. That is my only criticism."
